GENTLE - For beginners or those who want to take it slow and simple. This class consists of easy warm-ups, gentle stretching, and basic postures.
BASIC - Offers a wide range of postures with focus on mind-body aware-ness, alignment and proper breathing techniques. Modifications will be given.
POWER YOGA-Vigorous yoga holding and flowing thorough postures with emphasis on strengthening and establishing a practice by finding your edge and building endurance (MUST HAVE BASIC YOGA EXPERIENCE)
BASIC VINYASA FLOW- Emphasizes movement between postures guided by deliberate breath in a sequence of poses that will increase flexibility, strengthen and build endurance. This is a fully balanced class and All Levels are welcome to join as we ride the waves of breath in this dynamic moving meditation!
ZEN STRENGTH YOGA-A great way to improve overall well being and flexibility while building bone density, strengthening and toning. In this all levels class, you will move through yoga poses with the use of hand weights at a slow and effective pace. Fridays at 11:30am listed on post card schedules as a Basic Vinyasa Flow class in error.
SIMPLE STRENGTH FUSION- Don’t let the name fool you, this one hour class will include body weight strength movements, light dumb bells, cardio drills, and core work. By fusing together Pilates influenced movements, basic strength exercises and cardio, this class will provide a total body work out that will burn fat, improve endurance, and tone muscle. Wednesdays at 5:30pm listed on the post card schedules as Abs/Interval Fitness in error.
LUNCH BREAK YOGA- 45 min basic yoga class
PILATES- Focuses on alignment and core stability in a series of movement. It is a total body workout that tones and strengthens the entire body, improves balance, agility and mobility.
CLASSICAL PILATES- A moderately paced class for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. The Classical Pilates class focus is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility, working several muscle groups simutaneously. Modifications will be given. Improve your posture and stamina, leave feeling invigorated, not exhausted.
ZUMBA- A fun way to work out and burn calories. Anyone can do it! It consists of hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Its a fantastic core workout and is helpful with weight loss. Students can do the class bare foot or with gym shoes. No Street Shoes Please!!
MEDITATION GROUP-Learn to meditate finding inner peace through chanting, gonging and other meditation tools. Chanting focuses on a simple phrase and melody and repeats it over and over. The repetition relaxes the mind, and the body thus becomes ready to meditate. It Increases oxygen, glucose, and reduces carbon dioxide. It promotes joy, contentment, peace and cleanses the mind like water cleanses the body. Meditation group will meet the first Monday of the Month beginning October 7th.
