Jessica is a Mental Health Counselor who received her Masters Degree from Salve Regina University. Through individual and group therapy as well as family consultation, she has intervened with treatment methodologies that are holistic and evidence-based reflecting the most recent research findings. At Simplify Yoga, she strives to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all clients.
Jessica utilizes a variety of theories including Mindful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Family Therapy, body sensory, and Solution Focused Therapy. With adolescents and adults, Jessica utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach and psycho-education to help them understand where the emotions are generated and how to manage their reactions. Her specialty areas include trauma, anxiety, mood symptoms including depression and anger, relationships, and somatic manifestations.
Jessica believes that we all have the capacity for recovery and the potential to live a full life.
